If you’re looking for an adult only getaway, stay on the tram headed for Serenity Bay, an oasis! This exclusive and excluded portion of the island for those 18+ is the definition of kid-free. Enjoy massages, frozen drinks, a specialty menu including steak and fish, live music, and so much more in this location you’ll be sure to dream about the moment you depart.
Throughout the island, you’ll find hammocks inviting you to put your feet up and relax. Can you think of anything more relaxing that an oceanside nap in a hammock lulling you to sleep with the sounds of the sea in the background?

Activities for the whole family are plentiful once you step off the ship. With a family beach, sports beach, sports pavilion, shopping, and, our favorite, Pelican Plunge, there’s endless opportunities to stay active in the shade and in the water. Pelican Plunge, a 2,400 floating play area with waterslides, is a must visit for those spending time at the Family Beach.

With all the food onboard the Disney ships, you can only imagine the delicious bites found on their private island. The highlights include Cookie's BBQ (And Cookie’s Too!) for families and Serenity Bay for the adults. At Cookie’s, you’ll find BBQ favorites like burgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob, ribs, fruit, salads, ice cream, and, our favorite, the banana bread!
The adults only selection includes some fancier bites like steak and Mahi-mahi. This is certainly our favorite BBQ and will quickly be yours too!
For those who want an exclusive experience
While a private cabana is certainly not necessary to enjoy the beauty and fun of Castaway Cay, they are becoming a popular favorite for many cruisers who claim they are game changers.
These cabanas are limited and in high demand, so we recommend booking as soon as your activity booking window opens if you’re interested. These cabanas are an additional expense but do provide you with a private beach and luxuries like snacks, shade, and a host.
